Java Developer/Architect
Our client is seeking a qualified, senior Java developer to fill a full-time position at their headquarters on the Missouri side. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a BlackBerry communication application and a highly scalable web application to connect mobile devices.
Requirements
* Experience in Java – minimum of 3 years
* Experience developing applications for the BlackBerry or J2ME devices
* An understanding of BlackBerry application architecture
* Experience with Tomcat, Jersey and Hibernate is desired but not required
* Working knowledge of web services
* Experience with SQL
* The ability to deploy and maintain a web application in a Unix environment
* Ability to interact directly with business users to gather and analyze business requirements as well as provide guidance and suggestions for technical solutions
* Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and languages
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Objective C Experience – a PLUS but not necessary
