We are partnered with several Systems Integrators on multiple Meditech implementations. Our clients have several needs for Meditech Support Analysts.
Job Description
* Assesses and interprets business and user needs and requirements and translates specific portions of business requirements into system requirements, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
* Documents the business impact of system issues
* Manages project RAID and communicates statuses through closure
* Assists in formulating and defining requirements, design, testing, implementation, training, and support through research and fact-finding, combined with a basic understanding of business systems and business unit requirements
* Researches the impact of alternatives and assists in developing recommendations on business solutions to meet stated objectives and goals as they relate to the specific department that uses the application
* Acts as liaison between systems development staff, management and system end-users
* Defines and manages the scope of a business solution to meet the goals of the organization
* Supports production and development activities at the site
* Develops clear and concise ad-hoc reports utilizing the current analytical and reporting environment
* Serves as a resource to others

1. One analyst for Imaging and Therapeutic Services (ITS)
2. Two analyst for Authorization & Referral Management (ARM)
3. One analyst for Abstracting, Admissions, and Medical Records (AAM)
4. One analyst for Emergency Department Module (EDM)
5. One analyst for Scanning and Archival (S&A)
6. One analyst for Operating Room Manager (ORM)
7. One analyst for Third Party Application
8. One analyst for Pharmacy
9. One analyst for Laboratory
10. One analyst for MIS/UNIV/Tech
Required Skills:
* Understands and employs fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures relating to systems analysis and design
* Knowledge of business operations and in-house business systems required
* Ability to understand IT projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives, and ability to present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences in a concise and easily understandable manner
* Possesses a structured, process-oriented, problem solving mentality
* Strong knowledge of MS programs e.g. Word, Excel, and Access
* Demonstrated knowledge of Meditech’s ITS, BAR, ARM, SCH, AAM, and S&A applications, as well as how Meditech interfaces with third party applications in a healthcare operation
* Ability to understand how to apply IT for solving business problems; knowledge of revenue cycle applications and ability to apply that knowledge in a Business Analyst role
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
* Possess thorough understanding of business analysis techniques and tools as they relate to revenue cycle applications
* Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysis
* Identification with and support of the Mission and Values of our client and its Sponsors
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for information gathering and the ability to interact with various client groups
* Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines
* Skills in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
